Tailored courses offering empowerment to everybody
Speaking Up is a progressive learning programme starting with workshops on confidence-building, communications skills and an awareness of local democracy, eventually progressing to an NOCN-accredited Level 3 qualification (equivalent to an A-Level).
Who can host a Speaking Up course?
Any organisation with an interest in benefiting its staff or community can host and run a Speaking Up course. Based on the wide-reaching success of this range of accredited courses among local community groups, Exeter CVS is now able to provide this acclaimed adult learning programme as a supported delivery package to educational organisations, community centres and public/private sector businesses nationwide.
What support is available?
Exeter CVS provide consultation and support services to help you source funding, and to choose and deliver the right course for your learner audience. We can administer and deliver the course for you, we can train your own tutors and verify their work, or we can supply the resources for you to manage your own delivery.
