If you have developed your own learning programmes before, you will be aware that designing courses that conform to the specific requirements of each NOCN unit, and which also adhere to the general requirements for professional delivery of adult learning, is a challenging process. By using a Speaking Up tutor pack you will find 99% of the work has been done for you.
Support with Publicity and Bookings
Once your course details have been confirmed, we are able to provide you with print-ready publicity materials - posters, flyers and leaflets - as well as email bulletins to publicise your course locally. Bookings can be taken online using the registration system on speakingupcourses.co.uk
Network with Learners Online
The password-protected area of speakingupcourses.co.uk allows peer-to-peer support and online networking between learners and tutors. Learners are able to submit assignments and questions online through a private messaging service which maintains the confidentiality of your tutors individual contact details.
Additional Resources and Delivery Material
Resource packs include Powerpoint slideshows for specific modules, links to appropriate online video resources, additional reading material. Tutors are given password access to the resources repository at speakingupcourses.co.uk to access up-to-date discussion material.
Independent Verification and Tutor Support
Support is available by telephone, email, and face-to-face consultation for your tutor-assessors. By arrangement a tutor can be available to observe or co-run your initial session(s). If your organisation does not have qualified Independent Verifiers in-house, Exeter CVS can send a qualified practitioner to monitor and evaluate the progress of your learners and the quality of tuition to ensure your learners receive their qualifications.
